Congressional Democrats Unveil Newest Batch of Jeffrey Epstein Images as Justice Department Cut-off Date Approaches
Committee
The House Oversight Committee has released a set of approximately 70 images secured from the holdings of deceased convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
This constitutes the third publication from a tranche of more than 95,000 images the panel has acquired from Epstein's property. It features photographs of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and obscured images of female international passports.
This action comes hours before the 19 December due date for the DOJ to release all documents related to its investigation into Epstein.
"These latest photographs raise more queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its custody," remarked the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.
Contents in the Photographs Made Public
A number of the photos released on recently depict Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates positioned alongside a woman whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a workstation facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.
Oversight Panel
These are the latest wealthy, powerful individuals to be seen in Epstein estate photos released by the oversight panel - previously published pictures also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.
Being pictured in the images is is not considered proof of any wrongdoing, and several of the pictured men have said they were not involved in Epstein's illegal activity.
In a press release issued alongside the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not supply context or timeframes for the photographs.
"Photos were picked to provide the general populace with openness into a typical cross-section of the photographs obtained from the holdings, and to offer insights into Epstein's circle and his profoundly disturbing behavior," the statement reads.

The release also features several images of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita penned in dark ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her chest, foot, hipbone, and back. Lolita recounts the account of a minor who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.
An example of a excerpt from the book inscribed across a female's chest states, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".
Additionally, there are a collection of images of female travel documents and official papers from countries around the world, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the documents, such as identities and birth dates, is censored but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a announcement that the travel documents belong to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were interacting with".
An additional photograph depicts Epstein positioned at a desk closely surrounded by three female figures whose identities have been obscured - one has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his garment, and a second is leaning to examine a nearby laptop. Epstein seems to be aiding the final person put on a bracelet.

An additional photo made public is a image of digital messages from an unknown individual who claims they have been supplied "several females" and are requesting "$$1,000 per female".
Photo Publication Arrives Prior to DOJ Cut-off
The body has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both graphic and ordinary," its announcement on recently clarified.
The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of human trafficking, in August.
The photographs and files the Epstein property gave to the body are separate from what is largely termed "the Epstein documents". Those files are papers under the DOJ's control connected to its own probe into Epstein.
Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump enacted last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its documents. The extent of what is included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's likely that much of the material will be heavily censored, akin to House Oversight Committee releases
