The visionary game developer, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
